Abstract

This article discusses how the four friends who helped their friend find a solution to their problems in the text of Mark 2:1-12. The miracle that occurred in Mark's Gospel is a story about how the actions of his four friends who did various things or looked for various ways to meet Jesus to heal their friend. This article is prepared using a qualitative method in examining various sources and is done with a historical criticism approach. The purpose of this proposal seeks to explore the meaning and implications contained in the text of Mark 2:1-12 and in particular about how a loving friend can be a friend in difficulties for the church today.
