Article Processing Charge

ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)

Educatio Christi applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 400,000 (four hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) for each manuscript that is accepted for publication.

The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and received an acceptance decision. Manuscripts that are rejected during editorial screening or peer review are not subject to the APC.

APC Coverage

The APC of IDR 400,000 covers the entire standard editorial and publication process, including:

  1. Manuscript similarity/plagiarism checking (Turnitin);

  2. Copyediting to improve language, grammar, consistency, and academic presentation;

  3. Proofreading of the final manuscript;

  4. Translation of the manuscript, where required, between Indonesian and English;

  5. Layout and publication preparation;

  6. Editorial processing and publication administration; and

  7. Online publication of the accepted article.

Authors are therefore not required to pay separate fees for the services listed above.

Payment Policy

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

The editorial office will provide payment instructions to the corresponding author after the acceptance decision has been issued.

Authors should not make any payment before receiving official payment instructions from Educatio Christi.

The APC is not a submission fee and does not influence the editorial or peer review decision.

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance. Editorial and publication decisions are based solely on the scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological or analytical rigor, and compliance with the journal's publication ethics.

Waiver and Financial Assistance

Authors who experience significant financial difficulties may contact the editorial office to request consideration for an APC waiver or reduction.

Requests for financial assistance will be considered separately from the editorial and peer review process and will not influence the academic evaluation or editorial decision.

Transparency of Publication Charges

Educatio Christi is committed to transparency regarding publication charges. The APC of IDR 400,000 represents the standard publication processing fee and includes all services explicitly stated in this policy.

No additional mandatory charges will be imposed for the standard editorial and publication services covered by the APC.

The journal will publicly announce any future changes to the APC policy on the journal website before such changes take effect.
