Kajian Pastoral Keluarga dalam Film Bila Esok Ibu Tiada

Abstract

The film "Bila Esok Ibu Tiada" presents a poignant narrative about family dynamics when facing the imminent loss of a mother, the central figure of love and harmony. This study aims to analyze the pastoral family aspects portrayed in the film through a qualitative approach and narrative analysis method. The findings reveal four main themes: family relational dynamics, the role of family communication in dealing with the crisis of loss, spiritual dimensions and community support in crisis management, and post-crisis relational recovery. The research also highlights the significance of a holistic pastoral approach encompassing physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Additionally, the film reflects Indonesian cultural values, offering a unique context for understanding family crises. This study is expected to serve as a reference for pastoral caregivers in supporting families facing similar situations and to enrich the literature on family pastoral care in Indonesia.
