Pendampingan Pastoral Keindonesiaan untuk Keluarga Berduka Berbasis Budaya Mapalus Kedukaan di Jemaat GMIM Imanuel Pinabetengan
Abstract
Mapalus is a manifestation of the philosophical value of the Minahasa people, namely Si Tou Tumou
Tou, namely humans are born to make other humans. Mapalus culture is also carried out to bereaved
families. The purpose of this study is to describe and examine pastoral assistance based on mapalus
culture. The author uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques of interviews
and observation and documentation. Indonesian Pastoral Assistance based on mapalus culture has
been carried out by the GMIM Imanuel Pianbetengan congregation but the congregation has not
realized that what they are doing is pastoral assistance to Indonesia. Mapalus culture-based Indonesian
pastoral assistance has the values of gotong royo, sharing, mutual acceptance and respect, brotherhood
and solidarity. Through pastoral assistance to Indonesia carried out by the GMIM Imanuel
Pinabetengan congregation, the family comforts the bereaved family so that they are not bound by
sadness and are enthusiastic about living life.
