Kajian Hermeneutik Kritik Historis Yeremia 18:1-17 dan Maknanya Bagi Pemuda
Abstract
Jeremiah 18:1-17 contains about Jeremiah who was prepared by God to deliver the Word to His people, namely by going to the house of the potter to see the work of the potter as a picture of God's sovereignty in the midst of the lives of His people. This scientific work is studied using the study of Hermeneutics of Historical Criticism which aims to explore the intent and meaning contained in the text and uses qualitative research methods to find out the meaning of this text in relation to the lives of young people. This research shows that the lives of young people have not fully surrendered themselves to be molded by God, therefore it is very necessary to make efforts to mold them into children of God who are faithful to do God's will.
