Abstract

This research is in the background with the problem of youth who are victims of parental divorce which results in a bad impact on the youth, namely: depression, low self-esteem, feeling worthless, and spiritually traumatized so that the relationship between youth and God is further away so that a person's spirituality is weakened. Youth who are victims of parental divorce make it difficult for them to adapt to the environment. With the negative impact felt, they must be healed immediately and the church has a role to play in helping young people who are victims of divorce with pastoral counseling and counseling. This study aims to explain the impact of parental divorce and the appropriate and appropriate form of pastoral service in the recovery of youth who are victims of parental divorce. The research method used is qualitatively descriptive with case studies.
