Abstract

God in Jesus Christ sent the church to continue His mission, namely to bring peace to the world. As God says in 1 Corinthians 3:11, Jesus is the foundation for the Church, meaning that all church activities are carried out based on the example that Jesus gave during His ministry in the world. So this thesis discusses how the church realizes the purpose of its existence by carrying out its mission based on a pattern. ministry of Jesus. So the aim of this thesis is for the church and God's servants to understand and try to implement the church's mission which originates from Jesus, the head of the church. This thesis uses qualitative research methods, with a descriptive approach. The results of the research suggest that existing servants of God should be more aware of their duties, equipped and educated through guidance, counseling or training related to missions so that their understanding is broader.
