Membangun Pelayanan Digital Bagi Gen Z di Platform Instagram
Abstract
Generation Z as the generation that was born in the midst of technological and internet developments cannot be separated from existing social media. In fact, all the activities and needs of generation Z are carried out using their cellphones, including socializing with other people. Generation Z can spend hours a day scrolling through social media. The church as a community is challenged to be present on social media that is of interest to generation Z so that the church can reach out and carry out digital services for generation Z. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The author will dialogue between the data obtained and the source of knowledge. In this paper, the authors suggest that the church can optimize its ministry on the Instagram platform. Instagram is one of the social media that Generation Z is currently interested in and has various features that can be used by the church to carry out various types of digital services to generation Z. Thus, the church is expected to build relationships with generation Z by doing what Drescher calls LACE. (Listening, Attending, Connecting, and Engaging).
